"Elgin Schoolhouse State Historic Site is a state park property in Nevada, USA, preserving a historic one-room schoolhouse.[2] The school operated from 1922 to 1967. In 1998 the building was restored to its original appearance and in July 2005 it opened as a state historic site. The park features half of the school's original furnishings while the other items are authentic to the time period. The park is managed by Kershaw–Ryan State Park."
