Gordale Scar
England

It was recommended that I visit Gordale Scar while I was working in the area nearby at Malham Tarn. I didn't have much time to explore the area, which was a shame as driving through Malhamdale I could see many locations that I would have liked to visit. Perhaps another time. It was raining really heavy at Gordale Scar, I had a go at taking a few photos with my wide angle lens but failed due to rain getting on the lens. So most of the images below where taken with a 24-70mm which was protected a bit with it's lens hood. Even then I was cleaning the lens a lot. I wasn't planning on shooting a 360vr photo here due to the rain, until I turned the corner and saw the waterfalls for the first time. The rain eased off every now and then, so I thought I might have a chance and setup my rig. Most of my 360vr images are shot with a fisheye lens, and these don't mix with rain very well.... it's very easy to get rain on the lens, which will mess up the image. It was worth struggling to setup the 360vr rig in the rain, the rain eased off for a couple minutes and I managed to capture the scene without getting rain on the lens.
