The King Fahd National Library is the legal deposit and copyright library for Saudi Arabia. KFNL was established in 1983. The building consists of a ground floor topped with three floors between King Fahd Highway to the west and Olaya Street to the east. The existing building was covered by a filigree textile façade following traditional Middle Eastern architectural patterns and linking them with state of the art technology.
