View in front of the main gate of the Mauthausen concentration camp, in the low afternoon sun. Mauthausen was the largest extermination camp in Austria, during the 2nd World War. On the left the Soviet Monument. Today Mauthausen is a memorial to the Holocaust. Mauthausen is located about 20 kilometers east of Linz in Upper Austria.
