The Alt del Cubil peak (2.838m), located in Andorra, is part of the Pessons cirque of which it constitutes the northern limit between the Pessons peak in the west (2,857 m1) and the Baix del Cubil peak in the east (2,705 m1) . It therefore overlooks to the south the many lakes scattered throughout the cirque and in particular the estany del Meligar1. To the north it overlooks the eponymous lake del Cubil.
