Tübingen is a university town in the heart of Baden-Württemberg south of Stuttgart. The picturesque old town with its numerous historic half-timbered houses, the castle, the collegiate church of St. George from 1470, the Protestant monastery and the Neckar front were among the highlights of Tübingen. The town hall and the old town are completely preserved. Numerous half-timbered houses and historical narrow alleys characterise the cityscape.
