Priory Gardens
England

Priory Gardens is the site of bombing, as infact was so much of coventry. In the glass cases around the gardens are relics of the past, before the bombs dropped. The bombing of Dresden in Germany by Allided Forces was a reprisal for the near destruction of Coventry and especially of its cathedral (never rebuilt - the modern cathedral is infact an annex adjacent to the new church).  The people of Dresden, if anything suffered worse death and distruction and its cathedral, die Fauenkirch was too destroyed. I visited during the last days of the Deutsche Demkratishe Republik and can confirm this. Trouble is, two wrongs don't make a right!
