This is the backside of the Sandy Beach resorts in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. In contrast to the sun drenched beaches over looking the Sea of Cortez, the back of Sandy Beach looks onto the sun scorched Sonoran Desert. After the hour long drive from the US border, the resorts on Sandy Beach emerge like a mirage in the desert.
