Bazaar and arasta
The bazaar and arasta (a row of shops) in the centre of Vezirköprü were constructed by Yusuf Ağa in 1660. The bazaar has interior and exterior sections and houses 110 shops.
The bazaar interior used to be an inn, and the exterior section is surrounded by the arasta. Most of the shops sell a special type of samovar, which has a flattened shape compared to the typical design. Shoppers can choose between cheaper tin versions and the more expensive galvanized steel ones.
