The Shaochuantou Park is located at the entrance of the wet basin at Hamasen near the first entry of the Port of Kaohsiung.  It faces the Gushan Ferry Station, and from here the beauty of the entire bay can be viewed.

The recent addition of outdoor cafés in around Kaohsiung has extended all the way through Shauchuan Street to the park at its end.  This excellent location provides residents and tourists the opportunity to enjoy the relaxing sea breeze under the palm trees , or enjoy a cup of coffee as the ferries float by.
