St. Magnus' Cathedral, Kirkwall, Orkney
Scotland

St. Magnus' Cathedral is a Viking cathedral. Built by Earl Rognvald in honour of his uncle. This was also a way of Earl Rognvald to show his commitment to the islands. Construction began in 1137. The completion date is more complicated. it has been altered in many ways both large and small over the years.
