大别山主峰国家地址公园：
大别山主峰国家地质公园位于湖北省罗田县。大别山是中国南北水系的分水岭，山北水往北流注入淮河，山南水往南流注入长江。所以在大别山主峰顶，北可望中原，南可眺荆楚，巍巍群山尽收眼底。海拔1729米的峰顶有一口天然水塘，塘水不溢不凅，称为瑶池天塘。因曾有义军在天塘处设寨，故为天塘寨，后演义为“天堂寨”。
2015年9月，建造了145米的观光电梯和玻璃栈道，游客可以从猴谷漫步进入地质公园，乘电梯一分钟进入核心景区，升万丈悬崖，探幽深峡谷，踩玻璃栈道，登鹊桥陡壁，览哲人峰璟，攀主峰天堂，然后经哲人峰缆车上站，乘坐缆车下山。亦可乘缆车上山，沿核心景区栈道览胜后，乘电梯下山，由猴谷出公园。游览时间根据体力约4~8小时。
出猴谷时，遇到二对青年恋人，他们说，是安徽金寨的，早上7:00从安徽界上山，特意过主峰看湖北大别山风光，因为主峰在湖北。此时已是下午3:00多了。
