The Knowe of Unstan, Stenness, Orkney
Scotland

The Knowe of Unstan (also spelt Onston) was excavated in 1884 when many pots were found of a style now called Unstan ware. The roof had fallen in and was replaced by a modern roof which has roof lights set into it. The entrance is unusually tall for for a neolithic tomb so it is one of the easier tombs to get in to and see.
