Upper level of Crazy House, Dalat, Vietnam
Vietnam

Crazy House is a common nickname for the hotel with peculiar, eccentric, intricate and somewhat creepy design built by the famous architectural engineer Mrs. Dang Nga (its original name given by the author was the Moon Villa). The twists and turns of Mrs. Nga’s imagination had been inspired by flora and fauna and, as some experts speculate, by the work of Gaudi. The construction has begun in 1990 and still hasn’t been completed (you can clearly observe that in the panorama), though there are many people who have expressed a desire to stay in this hotel. Another interesting feature is the fact that due to the 14 years that Mrs. Nga spent in Moscow, visitors of the Crazy House may listen to Russian romances which are often played within the territory of the hotel.
