Alexander's Gate (Triumphal Arch), Rīga, Latvia.
Riga
Alexander's Gate (Triumphal Arch) was built in 1817 by Johann Daniel Gottfried to commemorate the victory of the Russian czar Alexander I over Napoleon in 1812. This is the only triumph arc in whole Latvia. It is decorated by 4 bronze medallions with the symbols of peace and war.
