The headquarters of the Australian Antarctic Division in Kingston, Tasmania. The ground is a map of Antarctica, with Tasmania in front of the globe sculpture. Metal discs show the location of the Australian bases: Heard Island, Macquarie Island and three Antarctica bases. Mawson's base at Cape Denison is also marked by a disc directly south of Tasmania.
