The Botanical Garden, founded in 1814, belongs to the Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo.

The garden is open to the public. Mon - Fri 07-21, Sat, Sun and holidays 10-21.

No entrance fee.

The pond is part of the Rock Garden, containing alpine plants from all over the world.
