Morning panorama at Botev square in Vratsa. Around the square are situated the Historical museum of Vratsa (Vraca), which is one of the 100 tourists sites in Bulgaria, a hotel, some cafe's and restaurants. There is a monument statue of Hristo Botev raising 12 meters above the square. Hristo Botev is one of the most active revolutioners and freedom fighters in Bulgarian history. He was killed in Vraca's Balkan not far from Vraca on the 2-nd of June 1876. Every year on 1-st of June there is a fireworks to honer him and his freedom activities. In the 2-nd of June many people from all parts of Bulgaria are going to Okolchitsa (Okolchica) peak to commemorate his honorable death.
