The Buddha Statue is strewn from a single piece of stone and is famed to be the largest monolithic Buddha statue in India. The statue found its place of fame in the middle of the Hussain Sagar Lake on the Gibraltar Rock in Hyderabad. The statue measures up to a height of 18 meters tall and weighs 350 tonnes.
