Der Speicher Moserboden (2036 m) der ehemaligen Tauernkraftwerke AG (heute Verbund Hydro Power AG) hat ein Volumen von 85.000.000 m³ und wurde 1955 fertig gestellt. Im Vordergrund ist die Mosersperre zu sehen, eine Gewichtsstaumauer mit einer Länge von 494 m, einer Höhe von 107 m und einer Basisbreite von 70 m.
In östlicher Richtung liegt die Drossensperre. Sie ist die kleinere der beiden Staumauern des Speichers Moserboden. Die Gewölbemauer wurde 1955 erbaut, es wurden 335.000 m³ Beton verbaut. Die Staumauer ist 357 m lang, 112 m hoch und an der Basis 25 m dick.
In nordöstlicher Richtung befindet sich in Verlängerung der Mosersperre ein Tunneleingang. Darüber liegt ein Berg, der mit Beton gestützt wird. Das ist die Höhenburg, von dort wurde das Panorama "Die Stauseen der Tauernkraftwerke Kaprun" aufgenommen.
