A look at Cherry Creek Canyon in the Emigrant Wilderness near Cherry Lake, California. The entire region is a spectacular glacial-sculpted landscape of granite slopes & domes while the creek meanders through creating canyons & potholes... and it was all to myself. The creek is low making it easy to cross, & it wasn't too cold either. The canyon is best known by kayakers for its Class V rapids.
