Evergreen is replacing the old cement with native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, food and wetlands gardens. The Commons will be the main point of arrival, signalling a welcoming place for children. The shade and seating will make it a comfortable place for visitors to meet and relax. Key interpretive features will be installed that speak to the site’s unique geological and historical significance.

The structure at the east end of this courtyard, known as Building 11b/c, was deemed beyond repair and has been partially demolished. Remnants and artifacts will be on display here.
