View to the Alps from the Seebuck, Balck Forest, Germany.
You also see the Feldberg Tower and to the north, some 200 hundred meters from here, the Mountain Station of the Feldberg Funicular (Chairlift in Winter and Gondola Ropeway in Summer) and the Bismarck Monument behind it. At the Monument is the Summit of the Seebuck, 1448 meters altitude.
The Feldberg Tower is therefore not located at the Feldberg but at the Seebuck and not really at the summit of the Seebuck !
In the distance to the West you can see the Summit of the Feldberg. 1493 Meter Altitude.
The Alps can be seen always at good weather conditons, sometimes it seems you can touch them. At high visibility even the Mont Blanc can be seen at the far western end of the Range of the Alps.
