Gigapixel view from the summit of Mt. Lamarck (elev. 13,464') in the Sierra Nevada mountains west of Bishop, California.  The peak is a straightforward ascent from nearby Lamarck Col however most maps identify the summit to the east as the officially named summit despite being 47 feet lower.  From here one can get a sweeping view of Mt. Mendel & Mt. Darwin to the south, Mt. Humphreys, Mt. Emerson, & Piute Crags to the north, the Owens Valley to the east, & distant views of the Palisade Crest.
