Le lac Mezaïa est une petite zone humide protégée située au centre de Béjaïa. Plusieurs espèces d’oiseaux migrateurs transitent par ce lieu .Le canard colvert, la poule sultane, la foulque et autres palmipèdes se partagent cet habitat lacustre.
