This is, after the church of San Pedro, the oldest church in Huelva. In it begins the most commercial street of the city, which starts at Concepción Street and ends at Berdigón Street, next to Plaza del Punto and near Casa Colón.
Its construction began in 1515 but the original Gothic-Mudejar style is not preserved due to the earthquake of 1755 and a smaller one eight years later.
Currently the facade is baroque style and the interior is gothic.
