Here at the Peruvanam Mahadeva Temple Pooram they are getting ready for this event as the musicians are playing and they are getting the elephants ready along the back. At the end of this festival the elephants will return here and spend some more time inside the gates as the festival continues. With these elephants all lined up inside the gate, it's kind of hard squeezing past them.
