Located in front of Lamego City Hall, the Republic Garden, rectangular in shape, is one of the most emblematic parks in the city. In Republic Garden, we find a statue of the poet Fausto Guedes Teixeira, inaugurated in 1944, a lake of appreciable size and with a statue in the center acting as a fountain, a bandstand and many flowers, drawing attention to the beauty and color of this garden.

Situado em frente à Câmara Municipal de Lamego, o Jardim da República, com forma retangular, é um dos parques mais emblemáticos da cidade. No Jardim da República encontramos uma estátua do poeta lamecense Fausto Guedes Teixeira, inaugurada em 1944, lago com dimensão apreciável e com uma estátua no centro fazendo de fonte, um coreto e muitas flores, chamando a atenção para a beleza e colorido deste jardim.
