Rognan is a village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Saltdal in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located at the innermost part of the in the Skjerstadfjorden, called the Saltdalsfjorden. It is located about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of the village of Røkland. The 3-square-kilometre (740-acre) village has a population (2011) of 2,526.
