On the trekking way to Roraima Tepui, the last camp before tackling the final ascent is the "Campamento Base" (Base Camp). Located at the foot of Tepui and approximately 1900m in altitude marks the point at which the vegetation and the road transformed from savannah to low mountain forest, preparing the adventurer to the slope of 800m that separate him from the coveted summit.
