Shiraz

saadi shirazi Abū-Muḥammad Muṣliḥ al-Dīn bin Abdallāh Shīrāzī (1184 - 1283/1291?), better known by his pen-name as Saʿdī (سعدی) or, simply, Saadi, was one of the major Persian poets of the medieval period. He is recognized not only for the quality of his writing, but also for the depth of his social thoughts.

آرامگاه سعدی معروف به سعدیه محل زندگی و دفن سعدی، شاعر برجستهٔ پارسی گوی است.

این آرامگاه در انتهای خیابان بوستان و کنار باغ دلگشا در دامنه کوه در شمال شرق شیراز قرار دارد. در اطراف مقبره، قبور زیادی از بزرگان دین وجود دارند که بنا به وصیت خود، در آنجا مدفون شده اند از جمله مهمترین های آن می توان شوریده شیرازی را نام برد که آرامگاهش به وسیله رواق به آرامگاه سعدی متصل شده است. آرامگاه شیخ مشرف الدین بن مصلح الدین سعدی شیرازی در تاریخ ۲۰ آبان ۱۳۵۳ به شماره ثبت ۱۰۱۰٫۳ در انجمن آثار ملی به ثبت رسیده است

Shiraz is the fifth most populated city in Iran and the capital of Fars Province. It is also considered by many Iranians to be the city of gardens, due to the many gardens and fruit trees that can be seen in the city. Shiraz has had major Jewish and Christian communities.
