The elusive Arrábida waterfalls are located below that rock where we where standing. When we visited the place it was in the summer and no water was running from those creeks, probably only in the winter those waterfalls are to be seen.

It's always nice to do a family trek, even if is on your own backyard;-)

From granddaddy to grandson, all came for a walk in the wilderness of the Serra da Arrábida.
The adventure turned out well with the discovery of the elusive Arrábida Waterfalls and the not so great scar made by the Secil concrete factory.

This scar left us with a bad feeling though, if this is what Man is doing to this beautiful sierras, what will be left in the end?
