The sports hall of Salsomaggiore Terme (also known as Palacotonella), is an air-conditioned multi-purpose facility equipped to host various types of events, such as: sports competitions, concerts, conventions and entertainment events, such as the Miss Italy Finals. The floor is made of high quality Canadian maple wood with a "springing" system for ideal sports performance. In addition, there are seven locker rooms, an infirmary, a muscle room, a secretary's office, a bar, a large car park and the operating direction that controls the amplification system and the scoreboards. The sports hall is accessible to the public and disabled athletes and has stands.
