The Tradeston Bridge , or as it is more popularly known by the locals as "The Squiggly Bridge" , was opened in May 2009 at a cost of £7m .
It joins the Broomielaw and Tradeston sides of the Clyde as part of the re-generation of the area in Glasgow .
It became known as the Squiggly Bridge due to its unusual S-shape , following in the footsteps of the Squinty Bridge found nearby farther along the River Clyde .
