The Unteraargletscher, literally "Lower Aare-Glacier", is the larger of the two sources of the Aare river in the Bernese Alps. In total the glacier was 12.95 km long and 29.48 km2 in area in 1973. In 18th and 19th centuries, it was one of the first subjects of developing glaciology.
Gelmersee (or Lake Gelmer) is a reservoir in at 1,860 m Bernese Oberland, Switzerland was completed in 1932. The reservoir may be reached by the Gelmerbahn from Handegg, Guttannen at 1,412 m. Source: Wikipedia
