這裡是陳定南紀念園區園區的西側。在這裡可以看到跟宜蘭冬山河風景區同樣的石堆，這些石堆排列成一直線，指向位在外海，具象徵宜蘭精神的龜山島。事實上，這裡在對面的平房蓋起來之前是可以直接遠眺龜山島的。設計師在此將水圳的水引入園區中，這條水道是設計師精心安排的作品，藉由「水」來闡述陳定南先生的一生。從出生、發源，到求學、從政、縣長、立委、部長等。以不同的意象代表生命中不同的轉折。
陳定南紀念園區由陳定南教育基金會籌辦，黃建興建築事務所規劃興建。主要為紀念宜蘭的前任縣長：陳定南先生。整個園區以陳定南先生幼年的故居開始發想，整合舊有的三合院，創造適合展覽的空間。

Ding-nan Chen memorial park is funded by Chen Ding-nan Education Foundation, design and built by Huang Jian-Shing architects business office. To memorial the pass away county magistrate, Mr.Chen Ding-nan. T whole park is designed with the concept of Mr.Chen Ding-nan's old home, where he lived young.
