Sé Catedral do Porto

A Sé do Porto ergueu-se entre os meados do séc. XII e os finais do séc.XIII , e sucedeu a outra igreja menor, implantada no mesmo local. Nesta época das cruzadas, o Porto recomeçava a crescer, envolvendo a catedral que dominava do alto da Penaventosa. São visiveis os elementos caracteristicos do românico português (com influências francesas da zona do Loire) como por exemplo a adopção dos toros diédricos e de capiteis sem imposta, ou o recurso a elementos estruturais já anunciadores do gótico como o uso dos acrobotantes, que a par dos de Alcobaça foram os primeiros em Portugal.
