长春公园东邻升阳街，南邻皓月大路，西邻正阳街，北邻西安大路。地形西高东低，南高北低，原为长春市第二育苗场(又名西安苗圃)。1999年列为长春市园林重点改造工程。规划面积67.3hm2，开发区占地约7hm2，公园规划占地60hm2。目前公园采用自然、野趣、树木花草相结合的方式，重点以观赏各类花卉为主题的生态型风景园。园内分分13个景区：包括岩石园、儿童游乐园、台地花卉园、花艺园等。该园拟种植各种植物110种，十多万株，每年拟种植牡丹、月季、郁金香、百合、风信子等花卉35万株，成为长春市第三大公园。园内还将种植大量的树木和花卉
