1932年，伪满洲国司法部成立初期，其办公所在地暂设在双桥子华俄道胜银行长春支行楼内（现民康路蓓蕾宫址），同年迁至五马路旧被服厂，后又迁至大同广场第二官舍（今长春市公安局址）。1936年迁至今新民大街828号吉林大学新民校区所在地。该楼建于1935年（伪康德二年），大楼正门朝西，主体三层，地下一层。正中建有三层塔楼，占地面积4万多平方米，建筑面积16378平方米。1945年东北光复后，伪满司法部大楼被国民党军队占用。1948年长春解放后，该楼由中国人民解放军第一军医大学接管，并作为校部楼，后改为吉林医大、白求恩医大校部，现列为市级重点文物保护单位。
