位于吉林省长春市长白路5号，始建于1907年，新站房1994年落成。1992年5月26日，由日本人投资兴建的长春火车站第一代站房，以整体爆破的形式被拆除。1994年，一座气势雄伟的站房拔地而起，这也正是长春目前仍在使用的第二代站房。车站离北京站1003公里，离哈尔滨站246公里。隶属沈阳铁路局。长春火车站为特等站，现为东北地区四大特等站之一，全路第七大站，四站台，出发列车方向有：吉林、沈阳、哈尔滨、白城，是长图铁路起点。

It is administered as a sub-provincial city with a population of about 7.5 million under its jurisdiction, including counties and county-level cities. The name originated from the Jurchen language. The urban districts of Changchun's city proper have a total population of 3.58 million.
