东御花园，始建于1938年。日本园林师佐藤仓设计。面积11100余平方米。是伪满皇宫中最大的园林。2002年东御花园全面恢复并开放。“东御花园”位于伪皇宫的东侧，看这小桥、流水，不高的灌木园林，还有日本特有的四角灯台，都是典型的日本园林景观。登上同德殿的高处，才能看到东“御花园”的“魂”——原来整个东“御花园”的各种花卉植物簇拥着中央圆形小岛。这就是日本人另一个别出心裁之处，它无时无刻不在提醒溥仪，这里是属于日本的。
