The Alto Tajo Natural Park is located in the Iberian System, between the southeast of the province of Guadalajara and the northeast of the province of Cuenca.
The protection of this territory recognizes the exceptional importance of the most extensive river sickle system in the Region and one of the most important in Spain, with a great geological, botanical and fauna diversity. This protected natural space is in an excellent degree of conservation and constitutes one of the summits of the Castilian-La Mancha biodiversity.
