Alyeska Resort Entrance in Girdwood Alaska 1a
Alaska

Alaska's largest alpine ski area and resort is located about 50 miles south of Anchorage in the town of Girdwood. Alyeska is a world class resort with a 304 room hotel and a full range of guest services. With 630 inches of snow annually at the summit of Mt. Alyeska, skiing is available from November through May. A 60 passenger aerial tramway at the back of the hotel takes skiers to 2300 feet up the mountain where they have access to numerous chair lifts.

The resort is located on the slopes of the Chugach mountain range and also offers a variety of activities during the summer months.
