報時山南端觀景台

在朝日亭上，可享受乘涼與避雨之便，往上步行到報時山木棧道的觀景台並不遠，依著木棧道行走幾十公尺就可抵達南端觀景台，再行走幾十公尺可達北端觀景台，也就是終點。兩個觀景台間隔雖短、但各據山峰的前後兩個頂點，所見景色也略有差異，饒富趣味。想一覽茶壺山、金瓜石山城景色者，建議在南端觀景台。
