市府為推動影視產業發展，於鹽埕區真愛碼頭，打造充滿科技感與正義氣勢的警察局南區分局，作為電影『痞子英雄首部曲』的拍攝場景，電影上映後票房突破上億元，成為2012年初最火紅的國片。展館旁廣場延伸至港邊，營造水岸景觀開闊感；館內1樓為互動遊戲區供遊客體驗射擊和刑事鑑識，透過QR CODE技術打造個人專屬護照，極富新奇與趣味；2樓為電影中分局辦公室拍攝場景，忠實呈現警察辦案情境，細心探索則處處充滿驚奇，令人流連忘返。
