Castelo do Bode is a lake situated on river Zêzere. This lake is created by a dam called barragem de Castelo do Bode. It was created to make drinking water for Lisbon. It also creates electricity.
The lake is a beautiful place, lined with eucalyptus and pine trees. There are many summer houses here as well as a few hotels and resorts. My friend Sotero has a house on this lake, in a lovely village full of vineyards, olive trees, and orange trees. It's a beautiful place.
These panoramas were shot from Sotero's boat, during a lovely day of boating around this lake. The photos were shot handheld, by holding the camera above my head, and taking many photos as quickly as possible in a circle. Because the boat was usually moving quite fast (30 km/h or more) there are some visible artifacts from stitching these images together.
