Botanical Garden of the Samara State University - State Natural Monument, located in the October district of the city of Samara. The only garden throughout the Middle Volga region, having a greenhouse.
The garden is organized in the Institute for the Study and Conservation of the Middle edge on the initiative of its director Smirnov. Currently, there are four academic departments: flora, Dendrology, flower, tropical and subtropical plants and household.
A collection of garden plants has 3,000 species, more than 800 of them - the trees.
