One of the few place where the ancient Hohokam canals are preserved, this little known park lies in north Mesa, Arizona. Known as the Park of the Canals, this park also is home of the Brinton Botanical Gardens. The ancient canals lie just outside the garden and can be seen as mounds of dirt in the background. If you look at an aerial shot of the park on Google maps or Google Earth, you can see the canal more clearly.
