One of our lesser known castles in Mallorca, Castillo Son carlos was built in 1610 and completed in 1662 itbecame known as San Carlos, in honor of the viceroy of Mallorca Don Carlos Coloma. It is a Spanish Historical Heritage site and houses a fine military history museum.
