Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Arezzo
Tuscany

The church was built where there was a pagan sanctuary with a source initially consecrated to Apollo (Etruscan-Roman period) and in the high Medievo it was called Fonte Tecta destroyed in 1428 by San Bernardino. In its place the church was built on a design by Domenico del Fattore a late Gothic building was erected, with a single nave, with cross vaults and a shallow apse. Around 1490 the portico designed by Benedetto da Maiano was attached to the facade.
